Mickey Rourke was nominated for Outstanding Performance by Male Actor in a Leading Role, but Sean Penn won for his role in the movie Milk.
And honestly, I am happy as hell Sean won, he's one of my favourite actors... and what I mean is, that Mickey didn't win but at least he lost it to someone who also really deserves it! And it makes us more curious about who'll get the Oscar!
Evan Rachel Wood was born in Septebmer 7th, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. She's a well known actress for her work in movies such as Thirteen and Across The Universe. This year will see her in Woody Allen's Whatever Works.

WOOOOW! I saw this pics this morning and i remembered about you girl, i know you would like her look... i mean, her dress was totally divine, the shape, the colour (green and blue are really good colours for her)... the hair was really glamorous too, and i can't wait to see her walking through the oscars red carpet!
about mickey, well, he got the golden globe so im happy that sean penn won the sag, i liked 'milk', though i didnt really loved it, but i must say that sean penn was amazing there, he always is, right? he's a really good actor.

evan rachel was quite pretty at the red carpet this time, lately shes back to looking great and i like that, i didnt feel that goth black look she had last year. but the colour of this dress is the best from it all because it looks great on her. i havent watched milk and i dont personally like gus van sant too much but sean penn is a damn great actor, but it will be nice if mickey rourke won you know, because he hadnt had that many great chances. anyway, this is the film i want to see the most so thats why my vote is for the wrestler ;)

She was stunning with that blue dress! Maybe, what i didn't like much was the colour of her shoes. Maybe in black she could be better, but she was also really pretty there. I love how she looks with her redhair there!
Sean Penn is one of my favourite actors, i have not seen Milk yet but one of the movies i've seen of Sean is 'Mystic River'. That film is brilliant, and i first saw it because Emmy was in it but the whole movie is truly great. Cleant is one of the bests directors. Let's see what will happen in the Oscars.!

well well.. let me say girl that i just LOVED evan's look there! sooo beautiful. im adoring the dress itself. it looked so good on her. and nice match with those heels! ;) the hair was total perfection too! this girl's got style and she knows ! ;) and abou kate, im so glad she won you know? shee really deserved it, so im kinda relieved.
anyway, i agree with you about the academy awards thing. it's not such a big deal! it's just that peope consider them to be more important than they really are ;)
