This photoshoot was taken during the Venice Film Festibal last year. She was there to promote The Wrestler and she wore this lovely Lanvin black-white stripes dress. Here are info about Evan's new projects:
- Flora Plum: Directed by Jodie Foster and Evan is set to play the title-character. A penniless girl, Flora, in the 1930's is taken in by a circus freak, and even as he falls in love with her, she begins to launch a career in the circus herself.
- Sucker Punch: Zack Snyder will be directing this movie. Amanda Seyfried, Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornsih, Emma Stone and Evan Rachel Wood are rumoured to join this production. Set in the 1950s, the movie follows a girl who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man.
Amanda would play Babydoll, the institutionalized girl; Vanessa a character named Blondie; Abbie would play Sweet Pea; Emma would play Amber and Evan Rachel would play Rocket. Sounds pretty interesting! And for those who don't remember, Vanessa Hudgens and Evan already worked together in Thirteen (she was Tracy's best friend, before everything).

- American Patoral: A man, in postwar America, watches his seemingly perfect life fall apart as his daughter's new political affiliation threatens to destroy their family. Nothing is confirmed yet, but besides Evan, Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany are also rumoured to star in this movie, which will be directed by Phillip Noyce.
Evan Rachel Wood was born in Septebmer 7th, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. She's a well known actress for her work in movies such as Thirteen and Across The Universe. This year will see her in Woody Allen's Whatever Works.

wow so those are her upcoming projects? they sound really interesting, especially 'american pastoral', i totally love jen connelly & her husband paul bettany. and well, maybe that one directed by zach snyder could be a cool one too :D its nice to see the girl has so many new things, 'whatever works' still has to be released, and all this upcoming movies... and the 'romeo and juliet' broadway musical!... you will get something new everyday dear! hehe
anyway, she looked truly gorgeous in last year's venice film festival, this look was very original and her face is just too beautiful, but i adored her when she wore that green gown at 'the wrestler' premiere, she shined that night.

looking very pretty there :) all of those new projects sounds so good! jodie foster, jen connely, paul bettany & zack synder are a hell of a great bunch to add to your carreer. haha and i totally remember now, vanessa hudgens as tracy's bestie, she looked way younger than evan though, in that movie. i would love see another zack film, i just love him. well baby, i hope you're ok, and lol, i am too an ontd fangirl! it's one of my faves :)

I'd love to see both projects! They sound really great. They look like very different things but I bet they're going to be awesome.
By the way, I've just finished watching Across The Universe ♥, she perfect in that movie, her voice is.. just amazing.
For some reason, I'd love to see her in The Runaways, the biopic of Joan Jett's band. Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning will be in that movie, and today thinking abour it I totally pictured Evan Rachel Wood there too.

oh wow, today we totally had the same idea :) damn, evan rachel really does have interesting projects, i dont know about the first one but the other two, especially that last one sound terribly great. wait, was that vanessa hudgens¿¿¿ wow she was really young there, i never recalled it was her, then again i barely know who she is except for a the highschool musical gossip. so they should cast someone more talented, i mean not as famous for just being a teen idol, i dont know.
anyway, girl whats up with the brontë' sisters film? that was the project that really caught my attention of evan rachel but nothing else is known right? that would be a really really interesting film to make. just tell me if you know anything about it but i doubt it.

The movie with young actress sound great , beside got a great cast , abbie is a talent actress surprises me
on candy ! well the other one sound great too ... i can't wait to see it ! and yes vanessa work on 13 with evan , i saw the movie on 2004 for the first time an then i see it many times , but i have this movie on dvd
and i start to search where vanessa is cause i don't see it the movie since i know her from HSM , and i found her ! jejee anyway ... bye
