Woody and Evan in Paris for the premiere of Whatever Works. She has said he offered her the role of Melodie and she didn't had to audition for the part:
"He wrote me a letter, saying he thought I would be good for the role and that he was going to send me the script. He was very funny. He said if I didn't like it, we would find something else to do together, and of course I thought, 'Are you crazy?! Of course I'm going to like it.' It was an honor. It was intimidating at first. Because I didn't audition and I'd never met him, so I didn't want to let him down. He's very sweet, very warm—not as neurotic as some people might think."
Evan Rachel Wood was born in Septebmer 7th, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. She's a well known actress for her work in movies such as Thirteen and Across The Universe. This year will see her in Woody Allen's Whatever Works.

awww these two look so great together and what lovely words did evan rach had for him, theres something tender about that old man, everyone loves him :) and damn, what an honour girl, to recieve that script and the offer of working with you even if its not for this then for anyother film. woody really wanted her and im glad. maybe they will do more films together, that would be great. still, i cant wait to see this film to see how she did, comedy is tough but reviews say that shes done great. anyway, i really liked evan rachel's look there and woody, hasnt he wore that outfit more than once or is it just me? :P
well, you know i agree with everything you said in the leigh flog, it sucks... hope the girl stays strong and wont get affected.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! these two look so great together girl! i never thought of woody as a neurotic person, on the contrary, he looks so sweet :) this film looks really good, it's great that she didn't need an audition for a WOODY ALLEN film, it just shows how great actress she is!

I really like the combination of this two! They look so lovely and cute together, don't you think? He really looks so sweet, the same as she does. Love her dress, her make-up, hairdo, her shoes,...It's absolutely one of the best looks i've seen of Evan Rachel.
It means a lot if she didn't had audition for the part! He should had a hunch and he was completely sure that she could take the part and be great in the movie. Can't wait to watch it!
