What can we expect from your character, Queen Sophie Anne, next season on True Blood?
I am waiting just like everyone else to find out. I have no idea what Alan Ball has up his sleeve for me, but he has assured me that it’s all going to make sense eventually, so I’m just waiting to see. But I have heard that she’s going to get a little more intense and a little scarier because she is pretty diva-ish and bratty right now; she’s definitely going to get more in-depth.

Are we going to see Sophie Anne with more women or men in Season 3?
Again, I don’t know. But her partner is a woman — Sookie’s cousin (Hadley Hale, played by Lindsey Haun), so I’m pretty sure there’s going to be more stuff going on there.

Maybe your lesbian vampire queen could fall in love with Sookie like everyone what seems like else on the show —vampires Bill and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard)?
I think she could, yeah, absolutely! I’m pretty sure she is one of the only characters on the show who actually knows what Sookie is.

Do you have any theories?
Not that I can actually say because I do know what Sookie is! So I’m keeping my mouth shut (laughs). No hints, nothing!

What did you think of the way Season 2 ended?
I thought it was out of control. I remember reading the script and just thinking, “I don’t know how they’re going to do this or get away with it or make it work and they did. They always do; the most outrageous scenarios, they always make them work. I’m very curious to see what happens next.

Are you going to have any scenes next season with Sam Trammell, who plays Season 2 hero and shape shifter Sam Merlotte?
I hope so. I think he’s a great actor, I hope I get some scenes with Sam. I hope my character enters Bon Temps at some point. That’s what I’m looking forward to. Definitely!

aug 11th: HFPA's installation luncheon

Evan Rachel Wood strikes a pose in a Gucci halter dress and Jimmy Choo's 'Gesture' platform sandal at Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s installation luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday (August 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif. She helped present institutional support to California State University Northridge in the form of a a $26,000 check from the HFPA.

“She’d joke around the set like a 12 year-old, but as soon as I said ‘action’ she could go immediately to the deepest emotional level. In some scenes, she went as far as an actress could go—maybe too far. I was so happy when she was the youngest person to ever be nominated for a best actress Golden Globe, but she deserved an Oscar.”

Evan was a guest star on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. She talked mostly about her projects Whatever Works, True Blood and the Spiderman musical on Broadway, she also revealed she's a big fan of Nintendo Wii, specially the tennis games.

Woody and Evan in Paris for the premiere of Whatever Works. She has said he offered her the role of Melodie and she didn't had to audition for the part:

"He wrote me a letter, saying he thought I would be good for the role and that he was going to send me the script. He was very funny. He said if I didn't like it, we would find something else to do together, and of course I thought, 'Are you crazy?! Of course I'm going to like it.' It was an honor. It was intimidating at first. Because I didn't audition and I'd never met him, so I didn't want to let him down. He's very sweet, very warm—not as neurotic as some people might think."

On a interview, she said she doesn't think a relationship with a much older man works:
"I don’t think it works. I think it’s a bad idea. I think as long as you learn from it - good or bad experience - it’s an experience, and you should take something away from it."

And many celeb sites posted this saying she regrets the relationship with Manson. I think what Evan said was taken out of context. She never mentioned Manson nor that dating him was a bad idea and she had regrets of it. She said the experience of dating a much older man (he was 19 years older than her) didn't work for her. But she had to try, right? And she did learn something from it...


And about her new boyfriend Shane, this is what she said:
"Yeah, we played (brother and sister), but at least we're not related in real life! Good God! I thought it would be creepy for him, but it's not."

whatever works ny premiere!

The cool foursome: Woody Allen, Patricia Clarkson and Larry David yesterday at the premiere of Whatever Works in New York. And no sign of that hottie named Henry Cavill at this premiere...

The movie is getting a lot of mixed reviews, some say it's a great and funny movie, others say it's too pretentious and only Woody fans are going to like it.
