Bono and The Edge are writing the music for the musical SpiderMan: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway, which will debut on Feberuary and as you know Evan will play Mary Jane. She gave some tips for them because the musics tehy were writing was a bit depressing:

“I was like, ‘Bono, I know you want to save the world and everything, but in this song you’re talking about poverty and world hunger and it’s Broadway. Can we lighten this up a bit, can I just not sing this?’. He was like, ‘You’re right, I know, we have to try, we have to try’.”

venus zine - march 2009

Evan is on the cover os the March issue of Venus Zine magazine, she was #1 on the list top 25 under 25.

"I was one of those little girls that freaks the adults out, I think I was just always performing whenever I could. So even just when I was having a conversation with somebody, I would be playing a character. This little two-year old could come up to them and sit down, but I would be acting like Elizabeth Taylot or something.

My parantes were worried if I wanted to be a lawyer or a doctor or something, like 'What are we going to do?'."

vanity fair: it's totally raining teens! (july 2003)

Once upon a time (2003 to be more especific) Amanda Bynes, Ashley Olsen, Mary Kate Olsen, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, Alexis Bledel, Evan Rachel Wood, Raven and Lindsay Lohan posed together for Vanity Fair. They were all about 15-17 years old. Lots and lots of things happend since then, huh?
After Evan, Alexis is my favourite girl from that shoot. Gilmore Girls was one of my fav tv shows ever, Sin City is a great movie, and The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants is absolutely sweet.

interview may 2008 issue

Evan is on the issue of Interview magazine. And the interview is very interesting, here are the highlights (in my opinion):

- She talks about Manson, and they're still together, so enough with those break-up rumors!
She was asked how she calls him: Manson or Brian (his real name), and she said she calls him by sweet nicknames, but she felt she shouldn't ruin the image!

- About her tattoos: the two most important are are music tattoos.
A black heart with a lightning bold in the middle, under her left rip bone. The black heart is for Manson and the lightning bold is for David Bowie.
And a black diamond with circles that keep swirling and swirling, and it's surrounded by crazy diamonds because of the Pink Floyd's song "Shine on You Crazy Diamond", and when she was a teenager, everybody used to call her Crazy Diamond. This one is on her ankle, and its what she did to cover up the "strawberry fields / blackbird / with diamonds" tattoo.

- She has worked with many great actors (Edward Norton, Al Pacino, Michael Douglas, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones...) , so that's a lot of male autority. She said joking "Yeah, working with men like that, you have to step up and look them dead in the eye and, you know, scare them!"

- She tells how she felt proud of herself during a scene from The Wrestler. And she keeps talking about The Life Before Her Eyes.
