How gorgeous was Evan with that champagne Elie Saab gown?! She made it trough a list of the best dressed of the night. And I must say, her fashion sense improved a lot (remember the disaster at the Behind the Camera Awards.)
x This year the Oscar was so different, not boring as it usually is... There were some great moments, like Ben Stiller as Joaquin Phoenix (by far, my favourite moment of the night, geez)! The musical part was pretty good too, specially the first one about the nominated movies/actors. Hugh Jackman was a great host!
x When Heath's family accepteed his Oscar... everyone was with teary eyes... oh wow, no words.
x Penélope was just too cute there saying she might faint. I'm more than glad she won.
x Kate Winslet was fabulous and I think I'm just as happy as /lovely__kate is right now. haha!!
x Mickey didn't win... and I must say I kinda already expected that. Sean Penn is a great actor, must have deserved. And on his acceptance speech he said "Mickey rises again and he's my brother".
Mickey was wearing a necklace with a picture of his dog, Loki, who passed away last week. He must be really sad about his dog... I mean, he even said thanks to him at the Golden Globes.
x Slumdog Millionaire was my favourite movie of the night, so I'm glad it won, basically, everything and the most important award of the night! And how cute were the children who played young Jamal/Salim/Latika there?! And yeah. Go, Danny Boyle and Dev Patel!

heeey hon :) i havent seen anything from these awards yet, i knew all the winners and i more or less agree though i wanted mickey rourke to win! did you read my review of the film right? its my fave film from the oscars so it was a bit disapointing for me... though slumdog was also very good, such a beautiful story :) im about to see the awards tonight but i did see the joaquin phoenix part and my god, i nearly cried laughing at it, i told you i cry like at anything ;) anyway, evan rachel was looking damn great, maybe i dont feel that hair too much, could have done better in that aspect but yet she still was really beautiful, this dress is delicious. and i will watch that interview when i watch the whole thing. im also happy that kate winslet won, she deserved that :) and well, im dying to see how high jackman did, he so nice and charming that i bet he did one awesome job.

Ela tava muito linda nesse vestido, eu já vi ele em outras pessoas mas, ela é definitivamente a pessoa que o vestiu melhor!
Eu tb gostei do Oscar desse ano, e o que fala do Ben stiller imitando o Joaquin, eu simplesmente ri demais, com certeza momento mais engraçado, tb adorei o Jackman como apresentador, ele foi ótimo e tem uma voz LINDA!
Hum...tb adorei os prêmios para os atores e atrizes, já sobre Slumdog eu ainda não vi o filme, mas deve ser bem legal, eu gosto bastante dos filmes do Boyle, são sempre diferentes e ótimos, esse não deve ser diferente...
E fiquei tão triste quando o Mickey falou no tapete vermelho que o cachorro dele tinha morrido, tava tão acostumada ver ele levando o cachorro para lá e para cá... Bom, pelo menos ele já arrumou outro...hehe
