How come not love Across The Universe? This is my favourite movie from Evan, no doubt about that! Such a simple idea: a story told through Beatle's songs...
This is one of my favourite parts of the movie. The Strawberry Fields Forever scene, while Jude is in NY and Max is at the Vietnam War. And then when Judy and Lucy get into a fight and then she sees his draw of the strawberry.
Lucy: We're in the middle of a revolution, Jude. And what are you doing? Doodles and cartoons?
Jude: Well I'm sorry I'm not the man with the mega-phone, but this is what I do.
There are a lot of other scenes in tis movie that I absolutely love, like the All You Need Is Love, I Want You, Girl and All My Loving scenes. But this was the one that got stuck into my head the most!
So tell me, what was the thing you liked the most about this movie? Pleease, I wanna know everyone's opinion!

Evan Rachel Wood was born in Septebmer 7th, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. She's a well known actress for her work in movies such as Thirteen and Across The Universe. This year will see her in Woody Allen's Whatever Works.

this one and 'thirteen' are my fave movies from evan. like you, i simpply adored the idea of mixing the beatles with a love story, since i was a little girl my aunt made me listen to the beatles songs and i ended up loving them, 'let it be' will always be my favourite, but in general i adore all of them. and well, i watched 'across the universe' this summer and really really liked it, as i've already told you. that scene, the one in the begining when jude sings 'girl', and 'i've just seen a face' are my fave ones i guess. they make such a cute couple and wow, evan has a really great voice for singing! i had never heard her before and i was very impressed. also jim sturgess was too cute to be truth in this movie, since i saw him here and with my scarlett in 'the other boleyn girl' i fell in love with him, its impossible not to, right? hehe.

I was just watching the trailer a few hours ago... it's emotionally powerful! Great movie.

i really didnt love this film, i just thought it was ok, then again, i dont like musicals too much so there you have it. but i thought evan rachel and jim did great, they were really cute together and sang pretty well. also im not a big fan of the beatles , i mean, i dont know all their stuff so i couldnt appreciate it more. but i loved the photography and their acting. my fave evan rach film is definately thirteen, maybe she did here a more marure performance but i loved that film an she did so great there too.
anyway, girrrl if you see hes just not that into you tell me if you liked it, youre sooo lucky... i forgot to ask you but its your exams' week over right? i hope you did fine honey :)

oh man i must be crazy. you know, i adore the beatles since i was like 7 and i haven't watched this film. i love that actor (you know the one from '21 black jack', can't remember his name). so gosh i must watch that now! i saw the clip and it's really cool. he doesn't sing at all bad. and evan looking as beautiful as ever :P
