Evan with other celebs (12/15)

Evan and her BFF Jim Sturgess. And just because I love him too much, I had to include him in this session. For the ones living under a rock, he played Jude in Across The Universe, George in The Other Boleyn Girl and has been in other films such as 21 and Crossing Over. Evan Rachel is crazy to work with him again and he was even rumoured to play Peter Parker on the Spiderman Musical.

“You know, I’m still trying to drag Jim Sturgess. But – if he doesn’t do it, I’m not sure. We actually did the workshop together. So, I have sang the Peter Parker-Mary Jane songs with him, and I just can’t imagine anybody else doing it. So, I’ll be sad. But I have a lot of faith in Julie, and I’m sure she’ll find somebody amazing.”


Sweet quote from Evan:

“He’s the best guy friend I have. I always hung out with guys, but it’s hard to find really good guy relationships that don’t get weird. And it never has with us, once.”

let me take you down, cause i'm going to...

How come not love Across The Universe? This is my favourite movie from Evan, no doubt about that! Such a simple idea: a story told through Beatle's songs...
This is one of my favourite parts of the movie. The Strawberry Fields Forever scene, while Jude is in NY and Max is at the Vietnam War. And then when Judy and Lucy get into a fight and then she sees his draw of the strawberry.

Lucy: We're in the middle of a revolution, Jude. And what are you doing? Doodles and cartoons?
Jude: Well I'm sorry I'm not the man with the mega-phone, but this is what I do.


There are a lot of other scenes in tis movie that I absolutely love, like the All You Need Is Love, I Want You, Girl and All My Loving scenes. But this was the one that got stuck into my head the most!

So tell me, what was the thing you liked the most about this movie? Pleease, I wanna know everyone's opinion!

A dock worker Jude travels from Liverpool to America in the 1960s to find his estranged father. There he mets Max and falls in love with his younger sister, Lucy. When Max is drafted to fight in the Vietnam War, they become involved in peace activism. Their story is told by songs of The Beatles that defined that time.

jim sturgess do play peter parker?

Mickey Jim Stugess and Minnie Evan Rachel Mouse goofing around Disney, last year. Yeah, fot those who are not aware, they're like BFF.

But the thing is: Evan confirmed she'll be a part of Spiderman: The Musical on Broadway, which will be directed by the great Julie Taymor. Bono (who also made a small cameo on Across The Universe) and the Edge from U2 will be responsible for the music & lyrics of the project. Rehearsals will start in June 2009 with a speculated start date of early to mid 2010.
But wait a minute... who'll be Peter Parker? Well, they're still trying to convince Jim Sturgess! Wouldn't it be awesome if he get the role? They make a great team, and they must work together again!

Many people ask if Evan and Marilyn are still together, and I really really do not know that for sure.
All kind of rumours started to surface. Including some that Evan broke with with Manson because of Mickey Rourke... you might remember the pictures of them kissing at the Venice festival. And this is so what the fuck?, right?! They are friends and the kiss just happend one time! Rumours, rumours...!

Some candids of Evan at the Toronto International Film Festival, on September 8th. She hang out wiht the lovely Jim Sturgess, her co-star in the movie Across The Universe. He was at the festival to promote a new movie, 50 Dead Men Walking.

I think Jim is a very charming guy, and come on, it's impossible not to fall in love with him after you watch Across The Universe. He's charming, cute, can sing, talented, smart, hot and single!

By the way, I'm just glad those two are still friends and hang out. And here's something he said about Evan:
"I didn’t know Evan Rachel Wood before I started Across the Universe, but I did get out that film Thirteen before I started I was just like “I hope she’s not like that in real life...” and she wasn’t."
