So, I finally watched The Wrestler. And wow, what a movie! I'm not gonna say much about it cause I don't wanna give any detial away, just that it's an amazing movie. Many people get emocional by the end of it and even cry, but I felt a little sad and a bit depressed, maybe it was just my mood...
Darren Aronofsky took out the best of each actor and we can clearly see that, everything seems so natural and real. Evan Rachel had a supporting and small role, but she did it brilliantly. Marisa Tomei also did it great as the stripper and (probably) the only one who really cares about Randy.

Last but not least: No one else could have portrayed The Ram the way Mickey did. It's like it was meant to be, you know? And now, more than ever, I can say: the man deserves all the awards he's getting!
And let's just wait until Sunday to see how it goes... :)

Anyway, Evan stopped by The Soup, and it wasn't actualy an interview, well, just watch it cause it's damn funny to see her "wrestling skills" :P

info about the woody allen project

The title is 'Whatever Works' and its set to be released next year, Evan's character is named Melodie. As many of you might know, she's co-starring Larry David. In the cast there's also Henry Cavill (from 'The Tudors), Patricia Clarkson ('The Green Mile' and she also starred in Woody's latest movie 'Vicky Christina Barcelona'), and others.

Earlier this week (on Tuesday, 22rd) Evan and her co-star Larry David (and also the creator of one of the bests sitcoms ever, Seinfeld) filmed some scenes for their new "Woody Allen's Summer Project" in New York.





I'm in love with the outfits she's wearing for this movie... Maybe because its not her style at all. :)

Here are some lovely new pictures of Evan Rachel filming her Woody Allen project, earlier today in Chelsea's neigborhood, NYC.

Patricia Clarkson, Ed Begley Jr and of course, Larry David are on the cast of it. And there's a rumor Henry Cavill, from the tv show 'The Tudors' is also on it.
All the details about the movie are under wraps...

And I'm pretty sure that hair is a wig!

Evan is currently filming The Wrestler in New Jersey, and it is directed by the very great Darren Aronofsky (Requiem For a Dream).
Her character name is Stephanie, and as you can see in the picture, she's brunette!
Other cast includes Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei.
