Evan and her boyfriend Shane West out in West Hollywood last week. HollywoodTV video.
He was on tour with his band, The Germs, and on July 14th, Evan attended to one of his concerts at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino / Wasted in Las Vegas. She got up on stage and the two danced together in a super hot way:
"I'm a little agressive when it comes to love."
Thanks a lot fo Elsa for the pictures and information! ;)
This is going to be a Whatever WorksMEGA post! I have been collecting some precious info about Evan's new movie, Whatever Works, directed by Woody Allen and starred by Larry David, Henry Cavill and Patricia Clarkson.
Plot:“Whatever Works revolves around an eccentric man (Larry David) taken into a series of adventures and encounters with his friends from Greenwich, a young woman from the South (Evan Rachel Wood), and her parents.” * Evan said on the Jimmy Kimmel interview she plays Larry David's wife, Melodie. But there was no sex scenes.
The movie will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival at the opening night for invitees only. It will later be released on June 19th in LA and NY.
During the Oscars closing credits, some exclusive previews of the 2009 movies were shown and WW was included! It around the 1:27, Larry shows up in the, apparently, living room and Patricia faints. This just shows that the movie will have a lot of funny moments!
Here's another video, someone was passing by the Battery Park in NYC and filmed Woody directing Larry and Evan:
And new stills of the movie have been released and here are some of them:
How come not love Across The Universe? This is my favourite movie from Evan, no doubt about that! Such a simple idea: a story told through Beatle's songs... This is one of my favourite parts of the movie. The Strawberry Fields Forever scene, while Jude is in NY and Max is at the Vietnam War. And then when Judy and Lucy get into a fight and then she sees his draw of the strawberry.
Lucy:We're in the middle of a revolution, Jude. And what are you doing? Doodles and cartoons? Jude:Well I'm sorry I'm not the man with the mega-phone, but this is what I do.
There are a lot of other scenes in tis movie that I absolutely love, like the All You Need Is Love, I Want You, Girl and All My Loving scenes. But this was the one that got stuck into my head the most!
So tell me, what was the thing you liked the most about this movie? Pleease, I wanna know everyone's opinion!
How gorgeous was Evan with that champagne Elie Saab gown?! She made it trough a list of the best dressed of the night. And I must say, her fashion sense improved a lot (remember the disaster at the Behind the Camera Awards.)
So, I finally watched The Wrestler. And wow, what a movie! I'm not gonna say much about it cause I don't wanna give any detial away, just that it's an amazing movie. Many people get emocional by the end of it and even cry, but I felt a little sad and a bit depressed, maybe it was just my mood... Darren Aronofsky took out the best of each actor and we can clearly see that, everything seems so natural and real. Evan Rachel had a supporting and small role, but she did it brilliantly. Marisa Tomei also did it great as the stripper and (probably) the only one who really cares about Randy.
Last but not least: No one else could have portrayed The Ram the way Mickey did. It's like it was meant to be, you know? And now, more than ever, I can say: the man deserves all the awards he's getting! And let's just wait until Sunday to see how it goes... :)
Anyway, Evan stopped by The Soup, and it wasn't actualy an interview, well, just watch it cause it's damn funny to see her "wrestling skills" :P
Evan Rachel Wood was born in Septebmer 7th, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. She's a well known actress for her work in movies such as Thirteen and Across The Universe. This year will see her in Woody Allen's Whatever Works. (facts&trivia)
